Pickup Truck Involved in Anaheim Accident on North Grand Avenue

 
ANAHEIM, CA (July 6, 2021) – Sunday, two women suffered critical injuries after a pedestrian crash on North Grand Avenue.
 
The incident happened at 9:29 p.m. in the 200 block of North Grand Avenue. According to reports, a gray pickup truck driver lost control of the car and let it hit the two women.
 
Apparently, the two victims were a part of a group celebrating the Fourth of July festivities.
 
Due to their injuries, paramedics transported a 22-year-old woman and a 44-year-old woman to an area hospital. Both of them were listed in critical condition, revealed Anaheim police Sgt. Jacob Gallacher.
 
“The driver of the pickup truck was evaluated and DUI was not suspected,” Gallacher added. “The driver was not arrested, pending the outcome of this investigation.”
 
The authorities continue to investigate the crash.
