Seattle, WA (February 12, 2024) – On Sunday night, one person sustained injuries in a DUI crash on 15 Ave W.

Around 10:54 p.m., while an officer was driving south in the 2200 block of 15 Ave W, a driver heading north in the southbound lane collided with the officer’s vehicle. 

Authorities have arrested the driver on suspicion of DUI. The age or gender of the driver and the details of their injuries remain undisclosed at this time.

Medical personnel transported the SPD officer to a hospital for evaluation, but the extent of the officer’s injuries remains unknown.
