Injury Reported in Fatal 2-Car Collision on East 48th Street

Yuma, AZ (November 14, 2023) On Monday afternoon, 2 people suffered fatal injuries while another had minor injuries after a 2-vehicle crash on South Avenue 14E.

According to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal collision happened at the intersection with East 48th Street.

Reports say that a northbound Polaris RZR OHV failed to yield to a car that was eastbound on E. 48th Street.

Officials say that both the driver and passenger of the Polaris were thrown out of the vehicle and suffered serious injuries, medics rushed both people to Yuma Regional Medical Center where they later died.

Meanwhile, the other driver sustained minor injuries due to the crash.
