T-Bone Collision on Russell Road Hospitalizes Minors

Basin City, WA (November 04, 2023) At noon Friday, a 2-vehicle crash on Russell Road injured 5 people, including 2 minors.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, the T-bone collision happened at the intersection of Glade Road and Russell Road, at about noon.

Reports say that a silver car on Russell Road crossing Glade Road failed to yield to a pickup truck traveling along Glade Road, resulting in a T-bone crash.

Officials say that the silver car have 5 occupants, and the driver was the lone occupant of the pickup. Medics say that the pickup driver suffered minor injuries, while all 5 people from the silver car were transported to a local hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities say that the silver car’s failure to yield to the truck caused the collision.
