Violent 2-Vehicle Crash on Russell Road Injures 5 People [Franklin County, WA]

Franklin County, WA (January 25, 2024) On Tuesday evening, 5 young people were hurt in a brutal 2-vehicle crash on Russell Road.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO), the traffic collision happened around 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of Russell Road and Glade North Road.

Officials say that a car, driven by a juvenile did not stop at a stop sign at the intersection and was hit by a pickup truck on the passenger side.

Reports say that the pickup rolled over an embankment and landed against a pole. Meanwhile, the car had 4 other occupants, all juvenile, officials say that passengers in the back seat of the car were ejected.

Authorities say that all 5 youngsters were seriously hurt and rushed to the hospital. No word on the driver or occupants from the pickup at this time.

Officials are investigating the traffic collision and have not released further details at this time.
