Horrific 2-Vehicle Crash on Redwood Drive Kills Motorcyclist [Rohnert Park, CA]

Rohnert Park, CA (May 10, 2024) On Wednesday evening, a 21-year-old Rohnert Park man riding a motorcycle died and 3 other people were hurt after a tragic 2-vehicle crash on Redwood Drive.

According to the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety (DPS), the fatal collision happened around 10:30 p.m. in the area of Redwood and Business Park drives.

Reports say that a northbound passenger vehicle collided with a man on a motorcycle.

First responders found the Rohnert Park man seriously hurt on the roadway. Medics rushed the man to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Meanwhile, the driver of the passenger vehicle and 2 of the vehicle’s passengers were hurt and hospitalized.

Officials say that the passenger vehicle was turned left of the southbound motorcycle, causing the motorcyclist to crash into the side of the vehicle.

Rohnert Park DPS is investigating the fatal traffic collision and has not released further details about the crash.
