1 Person Hospitalized after Crash on Post Oak and FM 969 Roads in Austin

Austin, TX (April 21, 2023) – Friday morning, one person sustained injuries in a 2-vehicle crash on  Post Oak and FM 969 roads.

The crash on Post Oak in Austin happened around 6:19 a.m. on April 21.

According to the Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS), the collision involved a semi-truck and a vehicle, resulting in a pin-in for a person. 

Medics began the extrication process once on scene, and the person pinned-in was declared a “trauma alert.” 

After 30 minutes, medics successfully extricated one person, and they were transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

No additional information is immediately available.

Further investigation to determine the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
