Police Investigate 2-Vehicle Crash on Morel Road in Ronald

Ronald, WA (August 8, 2024) – On Thursday morning, multiple people sustained injuries in a 2-vehicle crash on Morel Road. 

The accident occurred on Thursday morning and was reported by the fire agency around 11:30 a.m. The crash involved two vehicles, with one rolling onto its roof. 

Firefighters stated that the injuries of those involved were not serious.

Paul Grutzner from Ronald shared that his wife was driving the white SUV that rolled over.

“My wife was driving the white car at the speed limit toward Ronald when another vehicle ran a stop sign on Morel Road at full speed. Her car was sideswiped, causing it to roll over 3 1/2 times before landing upside down. She managed to free herself and crawl through the crushed vehicle on broken glass. We’ve lived here for years and know the roads well. We’re incredibly thankful she’s alive, and we appreciate the amazing first responders and the locals who witnessed the accident and stopped to help,” he wrote on social media.

The Washington State Patrol is investigating the collision, but they have not yet released a press memo with the names of those involved or specific details about how the crash occurred.
