According to Bellingham Police, the head-on collision happened on the 3700 block of Lakeway Drive around 6:15 p.m.

Reports say that the collision involved a truck and a car, with the sole occupant of the car getting trapped inside their vehicle.

Authorities say that the crash closed both directions of Lakeway Drive.
