Reckless Driver Causes 2-Vehicle Collision on Number 6 Road
Ellensburg, WA (April 05, 2024) On Sunday afternoon, a horrific 2-vehicle crash on Kittitas Highway left 2 adults and an infant hurt.
According to the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office, the 2-vehicle rollover collision happened at about 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of No. 6 Road with Kittitas Highway.
Reports say that a 22-year-old Spokane man, driving a Nissan Murano, did not stop at a stop sign at the intersection and crashed into the passenger side of Kia Sorento.
The impact of the crash sent the Kia off the road and rolling over, the vehicle ended up on its roof in a nearby field.
Officials say that the driver of the Kia, a 22-year-old Kittitas woman along with her passengers, a 25-year-old adult male and a 1-year-old infant, sustained injuries and was taken to Kittitas Valley Healthcare Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, officials cited the Spokane man with an infraction for failing to yield at a stop sign.
Deputies are investigating the horrific 2-vehicle collision.
