Man and Woman Hospitalized after 2-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 19 in Tucson

Tucson, AZ (April 27, 2023) – On Thursday, two drivers sustained injuries in a 2-vehicle crash on Interstate 19.

The 2-vehicle crash on Interstate 19 near Irvington happened on April 27.

DPS said a Chevrolet SUV was traveling southbound I-19 South of West Drexel Road and North of West Valencia Road when it crossed the median for an unknown reason and struck a northbound Jeep head-on.

The SUV driver, a 25-year-old man, was seriously injured and taken to the hospital.

The jeep driver, 35-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital
with minor injuries.

No additional information is immediately available.
