Brutal 2-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 15 Left 2 Injured [Mountain Pass, CA]

Mountain Pass, CA (October 20, 2023) On Wednesday afternoon, 2 people were airlifted from the scene of a brutal 2-vehicle crash on Interstate 15.

According to the CHP, the 2-car collision happened around 1 p.m. on northbound Interstate 15 about two miles after Halloran Spring Road exit.

Reports say that a motorist on a brown Dodge Charger was driving with excessive speed and recklessly collided with a red Honda Civic. The impact of the crash sent the Honda to roll over and land on the center divider.

Medics rendered aid to the people involved in the crash, rescue crews requested for multiple medical helicopters to the scene. Officials say that a 5 year-old child was bleeding and a male was unconscious.

Moreover, 2 people were transported by Mercy Air Medevac helicopters to Las Vegas University Medical Center with unknown injuries.

Authorities are investigating the 2-car collision.
