Police Investigate 2-Vehicle Crash on Higuera and Marsh Streets

San Luis Obispo, CA (August 22, 2024) – A two-vehicle crash on Higuera and Marsh Streets disrupted traffic on Wednesday night.

In a social media post, authorities stated that a fire hydrant bore the brunt of the accident at the intersection of Higuera and Marsh streets.

Thankfully, the accident, which occurred around 9:40 p.m., did not result in any reported injuries to the drivers or passengers. 

However, the fire hydrant was not as fortunate.

Police noted that DUI is not suspected and gave a shout-out to the San Luis Obispo Utilities Department for quickly shutting off the water to the damaged fire hydrant.
