Violent 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 12 Results in Injuries [Santa Rosa, CA]

Santa Rosa, CA (May 15, 2023) On Saturday evening, a 2-vehicle crash on Highway 12 left several people hurt.

According to the Santa Rosa PD, the sedan-pickup collision happened around 7:40 p.m. at an intersection along Sonoma Highway.

Reports say that an eastbound white GMC Sierra broadsided an Acura Integra as the pickup pulled into the northbound turn lane at Los Alamos Road.

Authorities say that took a left at the intersection and then entered the westbound lanes, inadvertently causing the collision with the Acura’s driver’s side.

Officials say that the sedan receives serious damages, while its occupants, a man, and a child, were extricated from their vehicle.

Medics say that the child suffered minor injuries, while the man sustained major head injuries and both patients were transported to a hospital.

Meanwhile, paramedics checked all 3 occupants of the pickup and were released at the scene.

SRPD is investigating the 2-vehicle crash and has not released further information at this time.
