Motorcycle Rider Dies in Traffic Collision on Hacienda Drive
Vista, CA (May 10, 2024) On Thursday afternoon, a tragic 2-vehicle crash on Hacienda Drive led to the death of a motorcycle rider.
According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the traffic collision happened at about 1 p.m. in the 2000 block of Hacienda Drive.
Reports say that a Subaru hatchback and Suzuki motorcycle were involved in the fatal collision.
Officials say that the crash closed east and westbound traffic lanes between Via Centre and Thunder Drive on Hacienda Drive for multiple hours.
Medics rushed the rider to a hospital, however, the rider ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead at the hospital.
Authorities are investigating the fatal collision, and officials say that the driver of the Subaru stayed at the scene.
