2 People Hurt in Fatal Traffic Crash on Murray Avenue
Gilroy, CA (August 11, 2024) On Thursday evening, a motorcycle rider died at the scene of a tragic 2-vehicle crash on Gavilan Court.
According to Gilroy police, the fatal crash happened at about 6:45 p.m. at Gavilan Court and Murray Avenue.
Reports say that a motorcycle and a car were involved in the collision. Officials say that the motorcyclist was laying in the road with life-threatening injuries.
Rescuers attempted to save the riders life, but the person ultimately succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver and passenger on the car sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating the fatal collision and have not released further details at this time.
