Tragic 2-Vehicle Crash on Aurora Avenue North Kills Man [Seattle, WA]

Seattle, WA (May 24, 2024) On Thursday afternoon, a 19-year-old male motorcyclist died, while a passenger in a vehicle was hurt in a 2-vehicle crash on Aurora Avenue.

According to SPD, the fatal motorcycle crash happened along SR 99, on Aurora Avenue North at 140th Street at around 5 p.m.

Reports say that the collision involved a man riding a motorcycle and a vehicle, whose driver and passenger are in their 70s.

Officials pronounced the rider dead at the scene and the passenger on the vehicle was transported to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition. Medics say that the driver of the vehicle escaped injury.

Authorities are investigating the fatal crash and have not released additional information at this time.
