Phoenix, AZ (May 25, 2024) On Friday evening, a man riding his motorized scooter was killed after a 2-vehicle crash near 12th Avenue.
According to the Phoenix Police and Fire Departments, the fatal traffic crash happened at about 8 p.m. near 12th Avenue and Washington Street.
Reports say that a car struck a man on a motorized scooter. Officials say that the scooter rider suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Authorities say that the driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with officials at the scene.
Police are investigating the fatal crash and have not released further details about the incident.
