2 People Hurt in Big Rig Accident near Folsom Road
Amarillo, TX (December 20, 2023) On Tuesday, a 2-vehicle collision on Route 66 left 2 people hurt and hospitalized.
According to the Amarillo Fire Department, the accident involved a semi truck and a pickup, the crash caused a section of Route 66 near Folsom Road and Amarillo Boulevard to be blocked off.
Reports say that a pickup truck collided with a big rig hauling propane, due to the incident, the profane started leaking out of the truck.
Medics transported 2 people to a local hospital, their current condition are unknown at this time.
Authorities are investigating the big rig accident and have not released further details about the incident.
