Tragic 2-Vehicle Collision on 24th Street Kills Motorcyclist [Bellevue, WA]

Bellevue, WA (October 8, 2024) On Monday morning, a tragic 2-vehicle collision on 24th Street led to loss of life.

According to Bellevue police, the fatal crash happened at about 11:26 a.m. at the intersection of NE 24th Street and Northup Way.

Reports say that a juvenile faces vehicular homicide charges after a fatal crash in Bellevue’s Bridle Trails neighborhood.

Bellevue police and firefighters responded to a crash involving a white sedan and a motorcycle at the intersection and upon arrival, Bellevue Fire Department attempted life-saving measures for the 28-year-old motorcyclist, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following an initial investigation, officers arrested the juvenile driver on suspicion of DUI and vehicular homicide.

The Bellevue Police Department has not yet released the juvenile’s exact age, and their traffic unit has launched a larger investigation into the incident.
