2 Transported in Elm Street Hit-and-Run Crash [San Antonio, TX]

San Antonio, TX (January 27, 2024) – A man and a woman were injured following an Elm Street hit-and-run crash Thursday night.

The traffic accident unfolded around 10 p.m. in the 500-block area near Interstate 37 east of downtown.

Investigators said a man and a woman were standing on a sidewalk when a man driving a black sedan came around a corner and struck both of them.

The driver continued driving down the road and crashed into a nearby fence. 

Afterward, the driver got out of the vehicle and fled on foot.

Right away, the paramedics rushed the two pedestrians to an area hospital with serious injuries.

Officers are investigating this traffic accident.
