2 People Dead After 2-Tractor-Trailer Crash on Interstate 40 in Flagstaff
Flagstaff, AZ (June 7, 2024) – Thursday morning, two people died in a crash on Interstate 40 involving two tractor-trailers.
Around 3 a.m., a crash involving two tractor-trailers was reported near the eastbound off-ramp to Parks.
One of the commercial vehicles had stopped at a fork in the roadway, and the driver had exited to inspect the tires.
Another commercial vehicle then struck the stopped vehicle, causing significant damage.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the driver, and co-driver of the stopped vehicle died at the scene.
The driver and co-driver of the other vehicle were not injured. The identities of the deceased have not been disclosed.
