The troopers and medics came to the scene at around 2:30 p.m. Moreover, it happened in the 3000 block of Lummi Shore Road.
When the first responders arrived, they found two Whatcom County road workers with serious injuries. They also located a heavily damaged Toyota Highlander SUV. An alleged DUI driver and two boys occupied the vehicle. Also, they found a damaged Whatcom County work truck and 250 feet of mangled guardrail.
