FRESNO COUNTY, CA (May 9, 2021) – Saturday night, two riders suffered injuries in a crash on Herndon Avenue and Thompson Avenue.
 
The officers came to the scene just after 6:33 p.m., reports confirmed. The crash between an SUV and a motorcycle happened on East Herndon Avenue and North Thompson Avenue.
 
According to CHP Sgt. Matt Radke, a motorcyclist didn’t notice the traffic slowing in front of him.
 
As a result, the motorcycle crashed with a GMC Yukon. The force ejected both a man and woman onto the road.
 
Meanwhile, an off-duty nurse in a car behind the motorcycle initiated a resuscitation on the female rider.
 
Then, responders transported both man and woman to the hospital with major injuries. Also, Radke confirmed that the woman was listed in critical condition.

On the other hand, the Yukon driver suffered no injuries.
