2 Hurt in Los Angeles Car Accident
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 8, 2019) – Two Los Angeles police officers sustained non-life-threatening injuries following a car accident on January 6.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department Lt. Ted Urena, the incident occurred on 62nd Street and Vermont Avenue.
“The officers were from 77th Division answering a call for backup from officers in another division when the crash happened,” Urena stated. He also added that two occupants in the second vehicle was in pain but declined to be hospitalized.
The LAPD also reported that the police vehicle hit at least one other parked cars after crashing with the first vehicle.
The collision is still being investigated.
