SEATTLE, WA (January 7, 2020) – Two people sustained serious injuries in a car accident on southbound 5 Freeway on January 5.
 
The incident occurred when the car came off southbound 5 Freeway onto the northbound ramp, Trooper Rick Johnson said.
 
The vehicle hit the Tesla. The collision left two people bleeding and unconscious. Responders took them to Harborview Medical Center.
 
Meanwhile, the driver who hit the car is arrested and booked at Harborview for investigation of vehicular assault, Johnson said.
