Fatality Reported in Sequim Crash on Highway 101 near Happy Valley Road
SEQUIM, WA (December 29, 2020) – Saturday, two people died in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 101 near Happy Valley Road.
The WSP troopers came to the crash at about 2:30 p.m. on Highway 101 near Happy Valley Road, at milepost 267. Troopers added that the vehicles crashed head-on after one of them drove across the centerline.
Two people in one of the cars succumbed to death at the crash scene. Meanwhile, responders airlifted two other people in the second car to a nearby hospital.
The incident shut down the area for multiple hours. By Saturday night, the roads have since reopened.
At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identities of the victims.
Due to the limited information, the Washington State Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
