2 Pronounced Dead after Car Accident on 91 Freeway in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 13, 2020) – Late Tuesday morning, two people died in a traffic crash on eastbound 91 Freeway.
According to reports, the California Highway Patrol revealed that around 10:00 a.m., medical responders were dispatched near Downey Avenue.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department also added that they declared a person dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the second person succumbed to fatal injuries while paramedics took the person to a hospital.
At this time, the authorities did not disclose the identities of the victims. Moreover, they are still figuring out the circumstances that led to the crash. Once available, further information will be released the to public.
The surrounding area was closed off for a brief time during cleanup duties. However, the roadway has since reopened.
Towing services were later requested in the area due to the extent of damage sustained.
