Fatalities Reported in George Auto Accident on Highway 283 and Adams Road
GEORGE, WA (August 12, 2021) – Wednesday afternoon, two people died in a semi-truck crash on Highway 283 and Adams Road.
The incident happened at around 3:30 p.m. According to the WSP, a semi T-boned a work truck on Highway 283 and Adams Road.
Trooper John Bryant confirmed that impairment played a role in the crash. However, the authorities haven’t clarified but it’s not which driver was at fault for the crash. The incident led to the deaths of two males.
“We tried to revive one of them, and extricate one of them, which we did but it didn’t work out,” stated Bryant. “Unfortunately, both the pair died at the scene.”
At this time, the identities of the deceased remain undisclosed. Also, Highway 283 remained closed for multiple hours after the collision.
At this time, the authorities continue to investigate the crash as a felony.
