Two Hospitalized after Crash at South Kent Des Moines Road and Reith Road Intersection
KENT, WA (May 29, 2018) – Two people were hospitalized Tuesday morning following a two-vehicle collision on South Kent Des Moines Road.
Troopers and medics arrived at South Kent Des Moines Road and Reith Road intersection at 5:30 AM after receiving calls about a collision between two vehicles. They found a damaged red car and a white van at the scene.
A trapped victim had to be extricated from one of the vehicles, while a second person was found inside the other car. Both of them suffered broken bones and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. Updates on their current condition were not immediately available.
The preliminary investigation suggests that one of the vehicles was trying to turn left when it collided with the second vehicle. Investigators are still trying to determine which driver is responsible for the crash.
