2 People Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 25 and San Felipe Road [Hollister, CA]

2 Hospitalized in Hollister Traffic Accident on Highway 25 and San Felipe Road

 
HOLLISTER, CA (April 15, 2021) – Early Sunday morning, two people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 25 and San Felipe Road.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 12:19 a.m. A Honda Accord with a female driver and a male passenger approached the intersection of Highway 25 at an unknown rate of speed.
 
Then, the Honda failed to stop at the red light and collided with a Gilroy man driving a Chevrolet Silverado at around 45 mph.
 
Furthermore, responders transported the Honda driver to San Jose Regional Medical Center by CalStar air ambulance. Meanwhile, responders airlifted her passenger to Natividad Medical Center in Salinas.
 
Also, the Chevrolet driver sustained no injuries in the incident.
 
Meanwhile, it is still unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
