Injuries Reported in Fontana Auto Accident on San Bernardino Avenue and Poplar Avenue

 
FONTANA, CA (June 16, 2021) – Monday afternoon, two people suffered injuries in a traffic crash on San Bernardino Avenue and Poplar Avenue.
 
The crash happened at around 4:34 p.m. on San Bernardino Avenue and Poplar Avenue.
 
According to reports, a Cadillac CTS traveled east on San Bernardino. Then, it failed to yield at a stop sign on Poplar Avenue. Afterward, it broadsided a Ford F150, stated Officer Daniel Romero.
 
At this time, the authorities suspect that the Cadillac driver traveled while under the influence of alcohol. Thus, responders took him to a local hospital for moderate injuries.
 
Moreover, the San Bernardino County Fire Department extricated the Ford Driver.
 
According to reports, the driver sustained major head trauma and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
