Child Hospitalized After Solo Vehicle Crash on State Route 87 in Fort McDowell

Fort McDowell, AZ (November 14, 2024) – A single-vehicle crash on State Route 87 east of the Valley seriously injured two people, including a child, early Thursday afternoon.

The rollover crash occurred around noon on southbound State Route 87 (Beeline Highway) near milepost 202 close to Fort McDowell.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety reported that a van veered off the right side of the highway and rolled over. 

Emergency responders transported both critically injured individuals, including the child, to a Valley hospital.

Troopers closed SR 87 to investigate the incident, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
