2 Hospitalized after Palm Springs Car Accident
PALM SPRINGS, CA (May 28, 2019) – Two people sustained injuries in a semi-truck collision on 10 Freeway on May 27.
The Cal Fire revealed that the collision occurred about 6:14 p.m. just before the Highway 62 exit. As a result of the crash, a person got stuck in their vehicle. Medics transported the victim to a hospital with serious injuries. Meanwhile, they also took another person to a hospital with moderate injuries.
According to CHP, one of the semis carried 80,000 pounds of carrots. Cal Fire also revealed that 20 gallons of diesel fuel spilled on the roads.
The crash shut down #3 and #4 lanes.
