Injuries Reported in San Diego Auto Accident on San Pasqual Valley Road
SAN DIEGO, CA (April 29, 2021) – Tuesday night, two people suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on San Pasqual Valley Road.
According to reports, the incident occurred at around 3:45 p.m. A westbound Nissan Versa driver traveled in the 15700 block of San Pasqual Valley Road. Then, he tried to make a U-turn in a driveway for the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.
Afterward, a 41-year-old woman driving a Hyundai Sonata crashed into the 30-year-old male Nissan driver.
Officer John Buttle of the San Diego Police Department said that the male driver drove off through an open service gate to the park. However, authorities later apprehended him.
Meanwhile, the woman suffered a broken arm and the man sustained a fractured ankle, Buttle added.
According to the officers, the male driver will face charges on felony hit-and-run and driving under the influence.
