SAN DIEGO, CA (April 11, 2021) – On Saturday, two people sustained injuries after a hit-and-run crash on 5100 Fairmount Avenue.

According to Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department, the incident happened at around 10:20 p.m. A southbound vehicle traveling on the 5100 block of Fairmount Avenue rear-ended a southbound 2002 Saturn sedan.

Then, the force of the crash caused the Saturn to rotate 90 degrees and collided with a Nissan Altima.

Furthermore, the Nissan and the Saturn ended in the northbound lanes where the Altima was broadsided by a 2014 Toyota Sienna minivan.

Moreover, responders transported the 32-year-old male driver of the Altima and its front side passenger with serious back and head injuries. All other parties involved sustained minor injuries in the crash.

Also, no description of the suspect vehicle was available as of this moment.
