2 Hospitalized in Contra Costa County Accident on Byron Highway near North Bruns Way
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA (January 10, 2021) – Early Saturday morning, two people sustained injuries in a head-on crash on Byron Highway near North Bruns Way.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident involving two vehicles happened at around 5:30 a.m. It occurred on Byron Highway near North Bruns Way in Byron, an unincorporated area of Contra Costa County.
Afterward, responders transported one person to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek via helicopter. Also, another victim was taken to a hospital in an ambulance, East Contra Costa Fire Protection District said.
The incident is under investigation.
