2 Hurt in Pasco Accident on Interstate 182 and US Highway 395
PASCO, WA (March 16, 2021) – Sunday afternoon, two people suffered injuries in a DUI crash on Interstate 182 and Highway 395.
The troopers and medics came to the scene at around 4:00 p.m. on the exit ramp from Interstate 182 to U.S. Highway 395. The serious rollover crash left the 27-year-old driver and his 12-year-old passenger with injuries. Responders transported both of them to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the preliminary investigation determined that the driver headed east on Interstate 182. As the driver took the US 395 exit, the pickup steered off the pavement and overturned.
Furthermore, the State Patrol confirmed that the driver faces possible DUI charges.
After the crash, the pickup has been totaled.
The authorities continue to investigate the collision.
When driving, it’s important to follow the posted speed limit and to yield to other drivers during uncertain driving situations.
We may not always know what other drivers are thinking. However, if we approach situations with care, we’ll have a likelier chance of averting a collision.
