2 Hospitalized in Camarillo Accident on Highway 118
CAMARILLO, CA (May 9, 2021) – Saturday, two people sustained injuries in a crash on Highway 118, near Mesa Elementary School.
According to Ventura County Fire Department and CHP, the accident happened at around 8:40 p.m.
Moreover, the multi-vehicle crash took place on Highway 118, east of Mesa Elementary School.
Furthermore, authorities said one of the drivers appeared to have lost control.

Shortly after, responding firefighters extricated two people trapped inside a Ford Bronco.
Also, paramedics transported two people to Ventura County Medical Center.
Apparently, they sustained minor to moderate injuries. Three more people refused treatment at the scene.
Meanwhile, the crash closed both directions of Highway 101. During that time, a knocked down utility pole at the scene was being repaired.
