Desert Hot Springs Collision near Kris Avenue Sends 2 People to Hospital
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (October 10, 2019) — Two people sustained moderate injuries in an accident near Kris Avenue and 19th Avenue Wednesday morning.
The incident happened at around 8:18 a.m. according to the California Highway Patrol.
The witnesses told the officers that a black car ran a stop sign then hit a truck. The emergency responders had to extricate two people from their vehicles before taking them to a hospital.
The crash forced a closure of the intersection. The roadways reopened after the clearing operation.
The investigators ruled out drugs or alcohol as a factor in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
