ANAHEIM, CA (January 17, 2021) – Thursday morning, two people suffered injuries in an accident on Euclid Street and Katella Avenue.
 
According to reports, an Anaheim Fire & Rescue engine headed south on Euclid Street toward Katella Avenue just after 1:00 a.m. Then, an SUV hit the vehicle in the intersection with Sumac Lane. The authorities noted that the fire engine traveled with flashing lights and sirens during the incident.
 
As a result, the SUV sustained major damage to the front and the fire engine was struck on its left side.
 
The firefighters were uninjured. However, they complained of pain, stated Shane Carringer, a spokesman for Anaheim’s police and fire departments.
 
The authorities confirmed that the fire engine was about to respond to medical aid.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t clarified whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. However, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
