Austin, TX (June 28, 2024) On Thursday afternoon, 2 people were hospitalized after a violent vehicle crash on US 183.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation (DPS), the traffic crash happened at about 5 p.m. on U.S. 183 at Burleson Road.

Reports say that a person was trapped inside the wreck, rescuers were able to extricate the person and airlifted the injured patient to Dell Seton with serious injuries.

Meanwhile, another person sustained non-serious injuries and was taken to St. David’s South.
