Single-Vehicle Crash on Apple Valley Road Injures 2 People

 
Apple Valley, CA (July 9, 2021) – A single-vehicle crash on Apple Valley Road left two people hospitalized on Thursday afternoon.
 
The collision happened on July 8 on Apple Valley Road near Chicory Ct. at about 1:57 p.m.
 
According to the report, the driver of a gray Dodge Ram suddenly lost control. As a result, it collided through the center median before crashing into a tree.
 
Apple Valley Fire Protection District responded to the scene and requested a helicopter to transport the two victims. Later, Mercy Air 22 arrived and airlifted the patients to Arrowhead Region Medical Center. However, there has been no update regarding the conditions of the victims.

Furthermore, the extent of the crash prompted the closure of northbound lanes for preliminary duties and investigation.
