2 Killed in Solo-Vehicle Crash on Tecopa Hot Springs Road
Inyo County, CA (October 14, 2022) On Friday morning, a fatal rollover accident north of Furnace Creek Road Claimed the life of 2 people.
Reports say that the solo-vehicle crash happened at around 4:10 a.m. on Tecopa Hot Springs Road. The vehicle’s occupants were a 40-year-old female driver and a 38-year-old male passenger.
CHP say that the driver allowed her northbound vehicle to veer onto the right shoulder, attempted to correct her direction, and eventually lost control of the vehicle.
Consequently, the Ford spun clockwise on and off the road. The Ford left the road and ended up on the he soft mud of a marsh. Subsequently, the Ford flipped onto its roof in the water.
Officials pronounced both occupants dead at the scene.
Inyo County Sheriff’s Office and the CHP responded to the scene. Bishop CHP is investigating the Furnace Creek Road fatal accident.
