2 Killed and 2 Hurt in San Diego Plane Accident near Santana High School

SAN DIEGO, CA (October 12, 2021) – Monday afternoon, two people died in a plane crash near Santana High School.

According to authorities, the incident happened at around 12:14 p.m. Moreover, it occurred three blocks from Santana High School, about 20 miles northeast of downtown San Diego.

Reports revealed that a twin-engine Cessna C340 crashed into a suburban San Diego County neighborhood. The incident set ablaze two homes in the area.

Furthermore, officials said that the two confirmed fatalities may have been the plane pilot and the UPS truck driver struck by the plane on the ground. The fire department also confirmed nothing as of this time.

Moreover, responders said that two people sustained burn injuries, Fire Chief John Garlow said.

Meanwhile, the incident knocked down the power in the neighborhood.

Garlow believed that there were no survivors from onboard the airplane.
