2 Killed and 1 Hurt in Bakersfield Auto Accident on Highway 65 near James Road
BAKERSFIELD, CA (July 25, 2021) – Saturday afternoon, two people died in a head-on crash on Highway 65 near James Road.
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 1:00 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Highway 65 near James Road.
Reports revealed that a southbound Dodge caravan veered towards the northbound lane. Then, it crashed with a Chevy suburban head-on.
Furthermore, responders pronounced both drivers dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported a passenger of the suburban to a hospital with serious injuries.
Moreover, the incident closed the roadway for at least three hours while crews cleared the wreckage.
