2 Killed and 4 Injured in Fresno Auto Accident on Highway 180 and James Road

 
FRESNO, CA (August 17, 2021) – Monday night, two people died in a suspected DUI crash on Highway 180 and James Road.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Highway 180 and James Road.
 
Reports revealed that a westbound Ford Explorer veered towards the eastbound lane. Then, it collided with a Honda Odyssey. Afterward, a Dodge pickup attempted to avoid the collision and overturned in the process.
 
The Ford driver and the 21-year-old male driver of the Honda died at the scene. Responders took the Dodge driver to Community Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.
 
Moreover, paramedics transported a 16-year-old, 24-year-old, and an infant to Community Regional Medical Center. All of them rode as passengers of the Honda.
 
Meanwhile, officials believe that alcohol or drugs played a role in the incident.
