2 Detained in Davis Auto Accident on Highway 113 and County Road
DAVIS, CA (January 3, 2021) – Saturday morning, authorities arrested two people after a DUI crash on Highway 113 and County Road.
The crash happened on northbound Highway 113, north of County Road in between Davis and Woodland in Yolo County.
According to the California Highway Patrol Woodland division, the two people were under suspicion of DUI while driving the same vehicle.
The CHP confirmed that a man was seated in the driver’s seat. However, his female passenger grabbed the steering wheel during a confrontation. Thus, they lost control and collided with a tree. Meanwhile, the car rolled over.
The authorities discovered that both occupants were under the influence of alcohol. Thus, they took both into custody.
Due to limited information available, the crash remain under active investigation.
