Injuries Reported in Los Angeles Accident on 5 Freeway near Gorman School Road
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 3, 2021) – Tuesday afternoon, two people suffered injuries in a crash on the 5 Freeway near Gorman School Road.
The authorities received a report of the vehicle that went off the 5 Freeway, near Gorman School Road at about 12:50 p.m.
“We know the copter left for unknown injuries,” said Henry Narvaez, a spokesperson with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Upon the first responders’ arrival, they located the vehicle that rolled over and fell around 30 feet down an embankment. The vehicle went airborne off the 5 Freeway.
According to the initial reports, two females were stuck in the vehicle. However, emergency responders clarified that the two weren’t trapped upon their arrival.
Then, responders airlifted the two people to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
At this time, the cause of the crash remains unknown.
