Police Investigate an Auto-Pedestrian Crash on  Sixth Street in Taft

Taft, CA (January 6, 2022) – Thursday evening, two pedestrians, a male and female sustained injuries in a crash on Sixth Street.

The auto-pedestrian crash in Taft happened on January 6 near Lucard.

Taft Police said two pedestrians suffered major injuries after a car struck them.

Firefighters and paramedics treated the victims at the scene and later taken by ambulance.

Moreover, police said one was going to be transferred to a helicopter to be flown to Bakersfield for treatment.
